Chapter One- Samantha - Can I Ctrl+Alt+Delete You

Katrina Stille. The biggest problem of my life. Why can’t I just kill her, you ask. That’s where problem number two comes in. Chad Kian.

“Sam,” Chad whines from my door. “Hurry up! We’re going to miss the movie!” I shushed him as I slid into jeans and a formal shirt, already sweating from the skin-tight costume underneath.

“Coming, coming.” I rushed out, pulling shoes on. I blew hair out of my face as I turned to face Chad.

“Finally,” he groaned, and pushed open the door so the two of us could get out. I locked the apartment behind me, rolling my eyes. “Hey, have you heard from Kat? Does she want to see the mov-”

“Yes, Kat’s fine, no, she doesn’t want to see the movie,” I cut him off, deadpan.

Chad looked pleased with himself. “Lead the way.”

I contemplated Chad’s reaction to my words, frowning all the way to my car.
